New in town and already an answer so quickly!
Thanks for the help on the terminology Something.
Okay it's a cowl induction hood and bumperetts that I like. But what about the paint, those two big white stripes over the hood? I hope they are common too. If not, that's not expensive to do/get done, is it?
About finding the car:
I live in Europe, The Netherlands and in all my life here I have seen just 1 (!) '67-'69Camaro. Standard model no xtras no sport- or rallypackage, bad paint, worn interior... etc.
I have seen 1 other (SS) beeing offered here over the internet. In okay condition for about $12.000. So I'm guessing the prices are about the same here as in the USA?
I will be doing most of it myself together with my father who has experience in restoring MG's. I have 0 experience in restoring and little knowledge of the engines but I'm eager to learn!
My father and I have no experience in welding.
I think this means I will be looking for a car that has good bodywork but needs work on the technical part.
I'm prepared to spend about $10.000 to buy the car (keeping in mind the cost of the restoration). This won't be for some time though... I don't have the money yet
If I wanted to buy one in good shape (body and technically) what price should I expect?
Tnx in advance!
