I have a 69 Camaro SS/RS. The front parking lights do not flash when using the turn signal. The right side will flash when the headlights are off. The rear lights work fine. The front lighting harness is new. What can I check?

It could be a ground wire not attached or a poor ground. I would start the tracing from there.

I had a similiar problem on my '69. My right turn signal would not work when the headlights were on. I cleaned up all my grounds and cleaned the parking light and side markers with some emory cloth. I slapped on some dielectric grease and everything has worked great since.

Question

Along these same lines.....

When I put my hazards on, only the front parking lights flash...the tail lights do not. The turn signals and brake lights work fine...any ideas? Could it be the flasher itself?

I had a similar problem with my 69ss, the wire in one of my parking lights was inverted into the socket backwards, the light actually did blink but the parking filiament was brighter than the blinker. If the the lights only blink without the headlights on, then this may be the problem...it's worth a look.
Take the lenses off so you get a better look at the 1157a bulbs.
