Just got this car and would like to know if someone can help me decode the identification tag. ST69 12467NOR121473 TR712 69B 09D
That's all I could find on the tag besides "body by Fisher". If you could help, I'd appreciate it.

Here's what you have
ST 69 = 1969
12467 = Camaro 8cyl Convertible
NOR = Norwood
121473 = Body Sequence Number, not the same as the VIN number.
TR712 = Standard Black Bucket seats
69B = Silver Met. w/ Black convertible top
09D = September 4th week

That's actually the trim tag. If you post the VIN (on the dash), I'll check to make sure it matches the trim tag (not swapped).

Let us know if you want help determining what the car was originally.

Also, the 12467 on the trim tag just means convertible. 6 and 8 cylinder cars got the same #.

The VIN number for my 69 Rag Camaro is 124679N512067. I put up my tag number instead of the VIN before. If you can give me any information, on the VIN, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Mark.

It decodes as a V8 69 convertible, Norwood.
The VIN matches the tag, that's a good thing.

The early tags don't tell much. You need to go off of physical clues to tell what it was.
