Question

I plan to order a wiring diagram for my camaro, in the meantime I have the following questions:

Which terminals on the Solenoid do purple and yellow wires connect to ?

Which post on distributor is Cylinder 1 on 69 Camaro 6 cyl ? (Need distributor to spark plug wiring diagram)

Is the module near the voltage regulator the horn relay ? If not, what does it do ?

Is condender on voltage regulator just for noise suppression ?

The purple wire goes to the "S" terminal
and the yellow wire goes to the "R" terminal on the starter solenoid.

The question about a wiring diagram for the plug wires is going to be difficult to answer as it all depends on the "clocking" of your distributor. Clocking refers to how your distributor was installed. You can install the distributor in such a manner as to have the number one plug wire terminal to be in any area of the 360 deg. radius-if the plug wires are long enough to accomodate the distance. What this means is that as long as you have the wires in the right firing order, number one terminal can be any where you want it to be as long as your plug wires are long enough to reach.. My diagram shows firing order to be 1-5-3-6-2-4..

Condenser on voltage regulator I can't help you with as I threw all that stuff in the trash within the first week of owning my car.
It stands to reason that the condenser is there for noise suppression though. You have my vote on that one. If I were you I would look into changing over to an internally regulated alternator. Lots of benefits to doing this switch. Relatively simple to do and the instructions can be found on this web site (forgot exactly where though). Do a search on the topic and you should be in business.
