Hi all,

I'm a first time poster here. Nice board.

I have been digging around but can't seem to find any information on whether or not you can get AC on a 6 cylinder.
The car I am looking at is currently a 6
(crate motor to follow upon death of 6) but the car is without A/C.
Can after market AC be installed in its current config? Any body install after market AC in their 69?

You could get an 6 cylinder, A/C equipped car from GM.

Vintage Air makes very good A/C conversions. Everything fits underneath the dash. Several people on the site have these units and really like them.

I own a 67 camaro that came with a 6cyl and factory air. vintage air would be your best bet. all the original parts are hard to find, and you would have to change your firewall and all the goodies inside. would cost less to go vintage air with a lot less headaches.

Camnut.

I located the number of my local Vintage Air dealer here in SoCal and have a phone call out to them currently.
