IM planning to switch over my atuo to 4 speed. Is there any special fabricating or anything like that to make the change over. Any major issues or problems. Does the linkage get in the way of headers etc.? Any info will be more than I have.

Thanks,

The change over is not as painful as some might tell you. If you are planning on a Muncie or Saginaw(I've never used any others), you use the 350 crossmember. The only fabrication will be the hole in the floor for the shifter. I suggest using an original style shifter because some can be a tight fit. Finding a 4 spd car to strip would be ideal. If you need a list of parts or some direction let me know. Good Luck.
