are there specific codes stamped on the old ralley wheels? I have a set of 15 by 7`s the only markings I can find are k-1-8 what are these off of any one know???????? thanks Tony

Sorry about the double post. Look by the valve stem for what is usually a two digit code. Sometimes they are hard to find so you might need to wire brush it. Post the numbers you find.

Yes, there are specific codes for each type of car that can be decoded to tell you what you have - or - post what car you have, and we can look up and see what you "should" have.

It's kinda interesting - the rims are hard to tell apart - until you set them side by side with another (different) coded rim... then you can usually see a difference.


PS - I know because I have 5 DG's in the work shop waiting to paint and 4 YF's on my '67.
