The spring in my 68 Camaro (standard interior)inside drivers door handle has broken. Apparently the only way it can be fixed is to replace the whole unit.

Did Chevy use this same mechanism in other cars and trucks? Seems like you can only buy these in pairs for about $35.

I am hoping I can find a suitable replacement at the local junk yard from a donor car.

Any ideas or suggestions besides pulling one from a Camaro?

(Yeah, I know I'm cheap ! But why spend extra money if you don't have to?)

I just took a good set off of a pair of 67 doors. Shoot me an email and we can discuss it.

There is nothing like doing it yourself.
