I have a 91 RS Camaro with an ignition cylinder lock jammed in the on (start)position. I am not familiar the removal or installation of post 70 GM ignition cylinders. The car has a manual transmission with a neutral lock out. Please advise.

If memeory serves me correctly, GM has the ign lock cylinder activate a rod going down the steering column and activates a slide switch. I think the ign key pushes the rod, but a spring returns the rod.

I know this type of system is was maintained thru the seventies, maybe the eighties. but I doubt it for the 90's.

You could always go to the Library and look up the info.
