I am currently working on the install of my vintage air unit in my 67 rs/ss. The condenser will have to mounted in front of the radiator. Do I have to move the trans cooler or can I mount the condenser in front of both the radiator and trans cooler? Will spacing the condenser about 3/4" in front of the trans cooler be an appropriate solution?

Cool

is your trans cooler external or in radiator? if in radiator put condenser center of radiator, 3/4" is good. 1/2" is better, if external, still put center in front of trany cooler.

I concurr with CAMNUT. Your condensor should be the first item that gets hit with air flow through the grill.
