is moog the best brand suspension parts you can buy? my dad was given some moog tie rod ends and a few other suspension parts for my 69. i looked around on the web and didnt find anyhing on moog suspension parts. are they out of business? do you know where i can still get the stuff if it is that great any way? thanks alot

Yeah, they are the best but buy the stuff in the Moog box. Moog manufactures parts for other companies, a practice called "reboxing", that may have the same quality but to be sure buy the stuff boxed as Moog. I tried buying my Moog stuff on line but ended up with reboxed stuff and sent it all back, what a hassle. I called Moog and asked them directly about the reboxed stuff and they told me to buy ONLY stuff in the Moog box to ensure quality. Any of your local quality auto parts store (not Pep Boys and alike) can order Moog for you. Just don't be shocked at the price, as with anyuthing else you get what you pay for!
I spent around $350 for my whole front end.

And another yes, Moog parts are often superior to OEM. No problems ever with Moog parts.

Moog is owned by Federal Mogul, check their web site. As stated before they are the best but more expensive.

Hey I put moog parts in the front end of my 82 ford 6 years age & they are still there & perfect as can be????

Good stuff.
Federal Mogul also owns TRW suspension parts. I've opened up a TRW box and found a part stamped MOOG on a ball joint install reciently.
