I just purchased pst subframe bushings for my 68 camaro. The radiator support bushings sleeve is differnt from the other ones. It looks like a washer tacked on to a round tube. The other ones are solid stamped sleeves. The problem is that the bushing doesn't rest flat on the sleeve because the weld is preventing this. Is this going to be a problem?

I just got done (like a couple of weeks ago) putting Energy Suspension subframe bushings from Jegs in my 67. The only problem I had was that I didn't order the "hardware" package at the same time. It cost me the shipping time for it because my original stuff came out in rusty pieces or else wasn't there.
Energy Suspensions hardware is smooth and so didn't cause any concern. Can you "dress the parts up" with a file or angle grinder to make them smoother??? pdq67
