I have the left front fender and splash panel off my 69 so I can replace the inner fender panel. Per the Chev Chassis Guide, I removed them as a unit, which was a bit unwieldy. For reassembly, what is everyone's experience? Should I install the inner panel first?

I can't tell you what the correct assembly method is but here's what I did: I attached the inner fenders first with all the bolts but left them loose. Then I fit the outer fenders over them carefully so I didn't scratch anything. Use tape on the fender and door edges and get someone to help because the parts are too big to handle easily alone. Just go slow and keep checking the fit everywhere. Good luck!
