I was thinking of doing some searching for my build sheet and have heard that they may be located in or under seats, behind dashes and above gas tank, etc.
Just thought i would take a poll-

Where have you found yours?

Found mine on top of gas tank. (van nuys built car). It's actually the chassis broadcast copy.

I bought a '69 Impala (I know not a Camaro, but a least it was a Chevy) from the dealership the orginal owner had traded it in at. It had those clear diamond print plastic seat cover (protectors)put on it when it was new. The lug wrench and jack handle were wrapped in cloth (I guess to keep them from rattling) and inside that cloth was the build sheet.

I always figured they found it under the seat, when the covers were put on, and the orginal owner (an aging doctor) stashed it in the trunk.

On the Van Nuys cars you can find the Chassis Broadcast Copy which is usually located glued to the top of the gas tank. It isn't a "build sheet" like the later Camaros or other Chevrolets(Chevelles can be found behind door panels, under seats, our 79 wagon had it in the headliner). There is also a Body Broadcast Copy which is similar to the Chassis sheet, but has slight differences.
