Question

Hi sorry if im asking a dumb question but
i want to buy a stock Camero Z28 5.0 for 500.00$ car is fine except for transmition. Car driveble but it need new transmition. Is anyone knows how mutch it will cost. Instalation not a problam. Thanks for any help.

What year? Standard or Automatic? $500 bucks sounds pretty cheap.

It is a 86' Z28 5.0 TPI T-top automatik
My ? is does anyone knows how mutch is transmition costs?

foe five hundred bucks? I'm guessing that the problem with the transmission is that it grew legs and arms and attacked the rest of the car, making it useless. sorry for going off on a tangent, but it sounds like something else is wrong for that much.

Trans rebuild for a 700R4 will probably cost around $1200 +/-$400. By the way, Camaro has no E in it.

Thanks for info. I think if body and interier is fine its fine for me. I'm going to restore this car anyway. My friend rebilding Firebird GTA 89'right now and I going to work on this one.
