I got a pretty good deal on a chrome dress-up kit for a BB chevy this weekend for my 69. The only problem is the valve covers are tall & I have power brakes. Is there a way to make this work without getting a smaller diameter brake booster ? My guess is it is not worth the time or effort, but I had to ask anyway. Please let me know your ideas. Also, if anyone is interested, we could work out a trade for a short pair.

(Thanks Guy; forgot to mention it's a 69.)
(Sorry if I picked the wrong forum for this.)

Mine has manual brakes and no wiper motor, I don't drive it in the rain anyhow. All it'd do is doughnuts once second gear hit!

Thanks for the replies. I think it will be worth it just to buy a set of short valve covers.

Thanks for the pictures Guy. That's a great looking car you have !
