I have a 68 camaro and the piece that bolts into the floorpan and holds the seats into the car ( i have no i dea what to call it). Well anyway one of the bolt holes is rusted, so i might replace them, since right now i only have 3 bolts holding my seat in place. but what im wondering is where i can get a replacement from (i havent seen any in any restoration catalogs), or if i were to buy newer seats say from SPARCO, would they send me another seat-bolter-upper-to-thingy. (if someone has a name for it can you tell me) THanks a lot i hope i didnt confuse the heck ut of anyone, it is the metal piece that is bolted into the floorpan with 4 bolt holes to bolt the set in place.

Thanks a lot

i think you are talking about the seat tracks...a good bet would be to wander around your local boneyard and see what you find. i don't know what models will work, but i'm sure someone out there can help..

You might try Rick's First Generation Camaros. I think they are in Athens Georgia.
They have an on line catalog available at
I have bought a lot from them without any problems.
