What kind of door panels are you looking for? As far as I know the houndstooth is only for seat covers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but your post reads as if you are looking for houndstooth door panels.

houndstooth was a delux interior option. Door panels and rear panels should be delux panels. If your car was originally delux, you can get the panels from Year One, for sure, and probably Ricks.
If your car was a standard interior, you have to change the door opening mechanism and the window mechanism to accomodate the delux panels. Or, if you just want houndstooth seats, you could get white standard panels, and dye them.

I have seen only one original car with yellow houndstooth. It was a Daytona yellow 69Z with black stripes. It was a stunning looking car. It needed a resto but was very original. The owner was going to change the interior because he could not find the yellow deluxe interior door panels the originals were toast. I have checked all of my Camaro suppliers catalogs and I cannot see yellow deluxe door panels. I guess you could get white and die them yellow.

When I started on my 69 2 1/2 yrs ago everyone had white or ivory in their catalogs but when you try to order they all said it out of stock or discontinued... I also know someone looking for ivory deluxe door panels and he has not found any in over 6 months...

I believe the deluxe panels are susposed to have carpet at the bottom. It should match the cars carpet color...

Its not mine and I don't know the seller, just stumbled across it.

Thumbs up

Wow. Only 1 day, 20 hours left in the auction, no bids yet. Starting bid at 400 dollars, seems pretty reasonable to me......

Gene, I've already sent the guy several emails about it. I've got relatives in Ohio about an hour from him, if the bid stays where it's at, there's a definite possibility I may get it. I drive up to Ohio several times a year, so I could save alot on the shipping charges. Just my luck, the bids will skyrocket in the last 10 minutes of the auction. I won't go over 500......KZ
