Question

Help! I have a numbers matching block in my wifes convertable the problem is the right heads are long gone, I have a set of Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads should I use these or try and find a correct set of 186 heads? Its a 1969 SS/RS 4 speed 350 car. the only real options are tilt wheel, SS, RS, wood interior, and delux interior.
Thanks for all your help!
Mike

041 heads are correct for SS350 as well (you can get them cheaper). I've bought 2 sets for $50 each set. A late May 69 set and an early Jan 69 set. Keep looking, they are out there! Kevin

Use the aluminum heads and enjoy the car. If a set of correct heads comes along at a reasonable price get them and either keep them for if you ever sell the car or put them on. If you want the stock look you can always paint the heads.
