I have a B&M quicksilver now in my 68. I am going to purchase an original style shifter in the very near future. Will the cable I have now connect to the original style shifter?

Gee Brad,
Don't just hate it when nobody replies?
I don't know the answer to your question, but the odds are about 50/50 that the cable would work, or the pessimist view is 50/50 odds that it won't work!
I would sugest that you try and find a used cable at the wreckers or look at some ones car that has a stock cable and compare the two, Good luck on your change over.
PS.I am of the optimsitic view.

Rick's has a US made repo for 24 bucks. Hard to do much modifying or searching salvage yards for that kind of money. I would guess Ground Up this sites sponsor would also have them.
