Thumbs up

In 1967 the aluminum L-88 heads were casting # 3904392 and had 2.19 in. and 1.72 ex. in 68 and early 69 was #3919842 with ex. enlarged to 1.84. Combustion chambers were all 106.8 cc's closed chambers. These were the same heads used with the L-89 option. The later 69 design were open chamber heads #3946074 and had even larger ex. valves measuring 1.88. The combustion chambers were 118 cc's open chamber. This head was also used on the ZL-1 engines.

The info I have for the L-88 cam is 0.540 in, 0.560 ex. and 326/334 duration. This is a solid lifter cam. The ZL-1 cam was even bigger and spec'd out at 0.560/0.600 and 322/334.
