Try searching the archives on this subject, you will find plenty of information that way. After reviewing all of the previous posts that discuss this swap you can come back here and post some more specific questions. Check out this months (August?) edition of Super Chevy as they have an article on swapping in the T56.. Now that I think about it, it may have been Car Craft. Not sure but go to your newsstand now and look at those two magazines for sure.

I am currently in the process of converting my 69. The hardest thing is finding all of the parts. You will need a new brake and clutch pedal with the bellcrank and all of the linkage. A flywheel, bellhousing, and clutch. I chose a four-speed Muncie for mine. I have heard that I might need a different driveshaft since the length between the trans & rearend might change. Also you will need to cut a hole in the floorboard for the shifter. I hope this helps and I have not left out very much. I should have mine done in a month or so.
