I talked to alot of experienced people before I started with my 383 stroker.Everyone sais that internally balanced is better. It can cost more for the balancing when you go internal, but you can also use your 350 balancer and flywheel/flexplate wich saves you money. All of the internally balanced 383 crankshafts Ive seen require the use of 6 inch rods, wich is ok because longer rods are better anyway.Go internal, its the way to go.
