I'm installing a crossflow muffler system on my Camaro and was wondering how the inlet and outlets are supposed to be positioned. I'm thinking the 2" opening is on top and the 2 1/4" on the bottom correct?

Thanks for the info,
Gary

Gary, On my 69 Z/28 the 2" outlets are on top and the 21/4" inlets are on the bottom.

Hope this helps,

John

Thanks John. I'm going from a rotted 2 muffler system to the crossflow and had no idea.

The exaust pipes from the manifolds are 21/4" and go over the axle to the muffler, and the tail pipes are 2" so they will only fit one way.
