How much gear lube do I put into my Muncie M-20? How do you know if it is full. I currently have it out of the car. Thanks,

With the trans in the car sitting level fill it to the bottom of the plug in the side of the trans case. Use regular 80W gear lube.

How often does the gear lube need to be changed? I have no idea when the previous owner put the muncie in my car. Should I drain it and refill it just to be safe? Or if it ain't broke, don't fix it? Thanks

I have a M-21 and my tranny builder told me to use 2 to 2 1/8 pints. He also warned me about overfilling since all the gear oil will go out the front and onto the clutch.
