Nope, the 69's are hard to find too. Discontinued from GM.

I really could use some 69 BB frame mounts.

I think you can use the 67/68 series frame mounts on the 69's but you must use the 67/68 engine mounts. I just picked up some 67/68 BB frame mounts about 3 - 4 months ago. One was readily available, but the other was hard to find.

I'm almost certain that the frame mounts for the big block are the same as the 302 and 350. The 307/327 was considered a low performance V8 that used smaller engine mounts and taller frame mounts. I can get the part numbers off of mine if you havn't gotten anywhere yet...

Firestone, Check out the numbers that you have. I have a pair of 69 BB mounts that I bought a few years ago and ended up not using them. Don't have the numbers handy but I remember them being different from all the SB. Here's one, why and what are the differences between the 68 BB and 69 BB mounts? The only differences between the years is going from the short water pump to the long water pump. The frame mounts don't move the motor for or aft so whats the difference besides the part number?

There is a width difference in the frame mounts between the 67/68 cars and the 69 cars.
What it boils down to is you can't mix the frame mounts & motor mounts between the two.
One combination won't even fit and the other will be loose.
I'll look through my archives and repost when I find the exact info.

'69 BB frame mounts are different than all the others as the driver side is taller than the passenger one. This is because the BB isn't centered in the engine bay to provide steering clearance. I just bought some from a Chevy dealer two months ago.

Kevin is correct ,on the big block mounts one is taller than other, small block mounts will not work.

Actually the SB mounts can work for installing a BB. Seen it done many times, just not correct. I Realize the height difference between the BB and SB mounts but not the difference between the 68 BB and 69 BB mounts.

Hey,

I got this info from one of clill's posts. the current part #'s that are still available from Chevy are #03980941 and #03980942. I called a dealer yesterday and they told me they cost about $25 each, I have yet to buy mine. Don't know the exact year but the previous topic was on a 68.(Big Block Frame Mounts, Steve R was the author). Good Luck

SB mounts will work, have seen it done many times, just not correct. I realize the BB mounts have different heights between the right and left sides. Just didn't understand the difference between the 67-8 BB mounts and the 69 BB mounts. Sounds like cardude hit it. Different width's between the years.
