I was told the front shakers are different between 68 and 69 is this true? if it is what is the difference? and will 69's work in a 68?

Yes they are different, as are the back ones. The outer legs on 67/68 shakers are longer than the 69 ones because the front fender extensions are lower on a 67/68 vs. a 69. The inner fenderwell is also different between 67/68 and the 69, so the bolt pattern may be different as well.

Thanks for the reply Mark,so the mounts are different. I can assume the shakers are the same so i should be able to modify the mounts.

I had bought a set that was supposed to be for a 69 - NOT! Are 67/68's the same so I know what I have and can sell them correctly represented?

I'm back from vacation and have alot to catch up on. The shakers on a 67&68 are the same. The ones on a 69 are different as they have longer arms because of the car being wider than the previous years.
