Question

Hi guys, me again. What is the trick to removing the ignition cylinder from the ignigtion switch. Learning to put new words together tonight. Thanks again.

Going by memory here, but turn the switch to the ACC position and stick a paper clip(the bigger the better)in the hole. While pushing down on the paper clip turn the cylinder and it should come out.

Gambler,
Provided your car is a 67-68 this is what you do.
Put the key into the igntion switch then insert a small diameter drill bit (or piece of wire) into the hole at the bottom of the key portion (bezel) and turn it to accessory, turn it alittle further past ACC and pull it out.

RAGTOP, Quick response we hit at the same time1

What if you can't get your ignition switch to go into the accessory position?
