Question

After seeing the post on headers glowing red/orange on initial break-in, I'm getting concerned that putting my brand new Accel 300+ Race Wires on my engine for the initial 2000 rpm 20 minute burn is going to leave me with a lot of expensive molten rubber.
Should I be worried about this? Should I pick up some cheapies for the initial firing?

Thanks,

Huck

I will send you my 300+ wires! 90.00 and they burned up from the exhaust heat. I had a vacuum leak and the clips holding the wires melted. From now on, I used a cheap, spare set for breakin.

Thanks for the advice, Mark. One more item for the parts store list.
