Has anyone seen or heard of an adjustable fan switch that can be mounted in the head or intake. I am not looking for the adjustable on that goes in the radiator hose, but in a threaded hole.

Summit and Jeg's sell an "on-off" thermo switch by "JET" in several different ranges - I've used the one that comes on at 200, goes off at 185 to control auxiliary electric fan relays.

painless wireing make's a kit eith a thermo switch the screw's in to head, like a temp secsor. i have one and it work's at the advertised temp's. mine is on at 200* off at 185*. they also have one that is on at 190* off at 165* i belive. the kit will cost about $70.00 from jeg's or summit. your local speed shop might have it but expect to pay around $80.00 for it there.

as fare as i know there is no adjustable one that is a screw in type.

I have the low temp Painless one. I have adual fan setup and the second fan is running on it. The first fan comes on with the ignition. I hate to have the one fan running all the time, so I wanted something I could adjust to a bit lower turn on point then the second fan.
