I'ld like to put a tilt steering column in my '69. Can anyone recomend a steering column that pretty much bolts in and works for them? I want to use parts I can find in a junkyard, not aftermarket stuff.
Thanks- Radio Joe

I bought one of the rebuilt units from National Parts Depot sometime back. I touched up the paint and it slid right in with no problems.

Why did you say it may cause more headaches than they are worth? Can you share personal experiance, inside info, common problems on this subject?

Camaro Heaven put a tilt in my car and the background may help me if, (when?) something goes wrong.

To the author of the posting; Mine cost 300 installed.
