Try Thorley tri-y's. They might fit and you get a great header!!

I have World SportsmanII slant plugs and after talking with various reps that didn't want to commit to having something that would fit, I called World and they said only Hookers would fit properly... I called Hooker (Holley) and found they make a subframe #2466 that will fit my heads, PS etc. Well, I sure hope they will, anyway I ordered them just to find out they are backordered... It's been 4 weeks and they said about 6 so I don't have them yet!!!

Exclamation

I put Doug's Headers on my 202 angle plug heads just a couple weeks ago. Great fit and clearance.

Doug is Doug Thorley BTW.

Thought I would relight this one!! The Hookers never manifested themselves!! Problems at Hooker/Holley?? Don't know, all they say is they haven't started making them yet!!

I went with "Doug's" (Doug Thorley) D304's. Note: "Thorley's" are the old company Doug sold to his partner. The D304's are in on the driver side but are up against the steering box. Will see when the car is off the stands if it's a problem. The collector is in the way of the linkage to the shifter/ignition key lock and I had to unbolt it from it's mount points to get the header on... To get them in from the top I also had to remove the valve cover. I have to shorten the old exhaust on the passanger side before I can install the other one.. No real big problems though.

Just a last note: The Doug's took 3 days to get here after ordering them.... Anyone that works at the other place reading this?

I have World Products Sportsman angle plug heads, and Hooker Super Comp angle plug headers on my 67 with power steering. I had to dent the passenger side header to clear the idler arm but that was all. I bought the headers 5 years ago so they might have changed their design. There is one spark plug that is a real pain but the rest are simple.

I used part# 376y1 on my small block '68 and they have a ton of room for angle or straight plug heads. As a bonus they have great ground clearance.

Z/27 - they are coated. It was $150 over the cost of the header... CJ - is that a Doug's part number? It sounds more like a Thorley's part...

I forgot to mention that the Doug's come with bolts, washers, gaskets, and the pieces that bolt to the collector.

I though so!! I almost went with them but being full length I didn't want to deal with ground clearance. You said they don't hang to low though but that was too late by then... I think these Doug's shorties will workout well!! I only have 1 bolt I can't tighten (too close to tube) and I am going to get a longer bolt with a metal sleeve to place the head out where it can be reached...
