For David Pozzi or anyone who knows...I have 5 leaf springs on my 69 350SS coupe with PS, PB, AC, 4sp. As I am restoring all aspects of this car, I put Moog 6308 in the front and Pozzi recommends 175lb spring rate for the rears. Where do I get rear leafs with this rate? What would be the rate of my 40 year old 5 leaf springs?

Thanks in advance,
John

I can try Eaton- I'm not sure what you mean, pdq, to get the right one- there are two.
Are there two Eaton's or two springs?
There's nowhere we can just buy 175lb spring rate multi leaf springs- off the shelf?
I was hoping David would chime in since he recommends them with 6308's up front.

Thanks,
John

Here's the one you want to contact, Detroit Eaton Spring.

http://www.eatonsprings.com/

Ask them if they can create a stock ride height 175 pound rated leaf spring for your application.

And Here is the other one..

And if nobody will fix you up, then hunt up "Chicane" on the sites and ask him if he wants to help you get a pair like you want?

Tell Chicane, that ol' pdq67 sent you asking..

PS., and you might want to go over to Larry C's great Pro-Touring site and ask the guys over there!

And say hello to Larry for me too!!
