Who makes a good reproduction California black license plate?

I live in Kentucky, so I have no intention of using these to register the car, but since our state only requires the rear plate, there is nothing to keep me from running a black California plate on the front to show off the fact that the car was built, sold and driven in that state originally. I currently have a black plate on it now, but it is actually a trailer plate and needs to be updated. I found some original documentation on the car that shows the plate numbers that were originally registered to the car when it was new. I thought it would be kind of cool to get a reproduction plate made with those numbers for the front of the car. You can find vendors that make these for as low as about $17.00, but most of the ones I have seen don't have the correct font on the word "California", and are made in Germany or some other obscure location. I did find another vendor that appears to have the right font on his, but the plate does not have the rectangular indentations in the top corners for the stickers.

Does anyone know a vendor who makes a good reproduction plate? Thanks in advance!

Those are some really nice plates that he makes, but probably out of my price range, unfortunately. But I can see why he wants so much, considering all the work that has to go into cutting and TIG welding those letters.
