That's what I thought too. I guess getting out of second gear was uncalled for...

Re: Two GM Employees Jailed for Racing C8's

I never went to jail for racing, but came close a couple of times. My bail bondsman and I were on a first name basis. Every time my car got impounded he drove me home. Went to p.d. the next morning (sometimes had to wait till Monday) to get the car released, cause late at night or on a weekend when it was impounded the department that handled releases was closed. They should have thanked me for paying their salaries.

The only reason someone would want insurance is if they want to pay someone elses bills or want someone else to pay their bills.

Reading between the lines I think the trooper wrote it up in a manner so they didn't loose their license's.

I suspect these 2 "engineers" will be called into HR tomorrow. Bottom line GM does not need this in the press so it may not go well for these guys

If they weren't near any other cars, these cops are a-holes for not just giving a warning.

Probably a couple of Barney Fife types IMHO.

More to the story: https://www.wnky.com/2-gm-employees-...bowling-green/

According to arrest citations for both men obtained by WNKY, at 11:20 p.m., a trooper noticed three 2020 Corvettes turn onto Lovers Lane. Derkatz, traveling in a white Corvette, achieved a speed of 100 mph in the 45 mph zone, while Thim, traveling in a red Corvette, achieved a top speed of 120 mph in the 45 mph zone, according to the citations. The citations note that the driver of the third Corvette, which was blue in color, was not participating in the racing.

I bet is a very quiet day at work today with everyone doing their job, not trying to get any attention. 🤔
