Are Any Old Members Still Around ?

Back in the day (2005-2010) this place was hopping. Many of us old timers moved on and /or let life get in our way and stopped posting here. Any of the old guys-gals still around? Still have cars etc ?

Re: Are Any Old Members Still Around ?

Still check in pretty much daily but don't post very often. Haven't done much with the car for the last couple of years. Hope to get back into it this year.

I’m back after a long absence. Miss the activity of the forums back then. Finally getting time to do things with the car again after 10 years in storage.

1968 that started life and a 6 banger with a PG. Now it's a 350 with a TKO600, Moser 12 bolt, Speedtech LCA/UCA, ATS Tall Spindles, Hotchkis Springs, Forgeline ZX3P, C5 (Kore3) brakes with other cool stuff from Ron Davis, Vintage Air and soon to be Terminator EFI.

Originally registered in 2000, finished car, lurked for a few years, forgot my log-in info, and re-registered in 2017. Still alive and kickin' with the same car.

Re: Are Any Old Members Still Around ?

Old as in long term or old as in old?

Doesn't matter, I qualify on both counts. Still visit the forums several times a week, post a little less than that. "Finished" my '68 enough for a cross-country trip in 2019. Still have the '67 waiting patiently for me to pay it some attention.

Mike - '68 Camaro - aftermarket or modern pretty much everything.

Re: Are Any Old Members Still Around ?

Us old timers have to use our walkers to get to the computer to visit here now, takes time but we still can figure out the keyboard. I check in daily just to keep in touch but rarely post unless I have something to contribute. Sold our 69 4 years ago but it lives on a few hours from us. Life does change priorities... kids had kids, grand kids around to spoil now. Aging family member, 96, needing help a lot at nursing home. But life is good.

Re: Are Any Old Members Still Around ?

Here since 2005. Still check in a few times a week, but don't post much anymore.
Giving my car a refresh over the winter, so may have some reasons to post.
Good to see some old usernames!
