Upol Clear coat, any experience?

Looking at UP6505 UP6602 5 Liter Clear/activator kit for an overall driver truck I have. I use their hi build primer and like it. Any knowledge or experience? Thanx!

Mostly Camaros and FINALLY a Double Nickel

SPI Euro clear would be a far better choice imho. SEM is not really a player in clear coats.

I used Tamco HC-1100 on a daily driver truck a few years back and was very satisfied.

Numerous companies are now players in the refinish industry and offer quality products for the daily driver, or seldom driven classic These products provide quality results. Speak with multiple reps and have them come to your shop for denos.

Re: Upol Clear coat, any experience?

I bought this stuff at a Fall Carlisle stand for $75 for the kit (online best price is $155 shipped) and did an overall on a black truck and am pretty impressed for the price, lays on easy, dries bright, and seems tough when you buff it. The clear is yellowish in the can so not sure if it would affect light colors or not but seems to be good for driver vehicles at this point. I did my daytona yellow car with PPG almost 20 yrs ago and still looks good, have my orange Z to do if time allows someday...I hope!
