Re: August 2015 RIDE of the MONTH Entries!

This is my 67 RS/SS . It has a 350ci with a Muncie 4spd trans. Bought this car 7 years ago from a guy at work. It had been sitting in his garage since 1986. It was in great shape, but did put rear quarters on it while I did a frame off restoration. The interior is original except the carpet and headliner. Love taking her out and watching the heads turn...

My 68 - simple, clean, mean. Prior to me, original owner had for 38 years. "Palomino White" - only 1% color in '68, total 760 cars. Special ordered per the tag/docs. Thanks

Moderator note: Jon I fixed your links to be image tags and at the the correct resolution to be legal entries. I also changed your optional fourth picture to the better looking over all shot in your share than your license tag. If you prefer the rear end picture I'll swap it out for you. I also merged the two posts.

68 Camaro - matching 327/ Sportsman 2.02's / 10:1 / Crane Cam & RR / E-Brock Performer / E-Brock 600 / Hedman Coated FL / MSD HEI / Flowmaster D-40's / 3.73 posi / 4-wheel disc / TH350 / 2600 stall.

Re: August 2015 RIDE of the MONTH Entries!

Jonz68....I like the poverty caps on your wheels but cant see what they are. Are they the 68 version? I was going to run poverty caps but they won't fit the rally wheel so I ran down a set of 14x7 steelies. See pict in my signature. Jimmie

Jonz68, it's none of my business but if you view your flickr photos and select the jpeg format (using 640x480 medium size) on your flickr page, and wrap them with [img]and [/img] your photos will be displayed and meet contest rules. Like this:

Good luck in the contest

Already took care of it since I was creating the vote poll today so it would be ready. Only five entries this month? You have six days left to nominate your ride!

Re: August 2015 RIDE of the MONTH Entries!

Thank you Brian, much appreciated. (my Flickr would not work correctly when I tried to correct)
Pics are fine as is,.....good call.

Jimmie: nope, not 68 correct. I had to improvise. With the 4 wheel-disc, I have to run 15", or better. These were the only ones I found that I liked, and looked close enough to what I was going for with the steel rims. At least they do have the Chevy emblem in the center. - Jon

Mike - While I would not call 2006 "Recent" I'll accept it if you include the list of mods as it is clear she is not stock.
