Four more days and we are below minimums again, so if there are two of you on the fence, throw your hat in.

Re: December 2015 RIDE of the MONTH Entries!

I'll bite just to keep it going:

68, 31,000 original miles, column-shift Glide, tall, boring gears, 250 with the following:

HEI
Mild cam
Offy intake
Holley 390 CFM carb
Langdon split headers through a single 2.5" exhaust and a Flowmaster 44
Electric pusher fan (it helps move it down the road)
3 core radiator
Power disc brake upgrade
Drilled and slotted rotors
17" TTs', 225's up front, 255's out back
All leather Deluxe interior
Custom Autosound tunes w/ Sony speakers
aftermarket steering wheel
LED interior lights (all of them)
Chrome valve cover (yes... singular)
Home-grown radiator fill panel

I get better gas mileage than you so don't laugh at my missing pistons.

Re: December 2015 RIDE of the MONTH Entries!

68 SSRS 396 this was my first car & I have owned it since February 1980. I completed a 5 & 1/2 year rotisserie restoration on it at home in my garage after blowing it up out at the drag strip in early 2006. It currently has a .060 over L-72 427 disguised as the born with 396, a TKO 600 trans and the original 12 Bolt with 3:73's. During the restoration, I swapped the 712 Black Standard interior for 749 Houndstooth, but stayed true to the original Y2.
