I'll give it a go my car I've had for over 35 years (after selling a 67 R/S Vert. for 600 ).
It's a tribute car built in honor of my Dad who taught me my basic wrench skills, and left me some loot to do it with. It's called Marvin's Menace (I was the oldest). What started as a lets get it on the road became my idea of making it what I really wanted ( I had no problem changing thing's around as it was a 230ci. 6 w/ 3 on the tree . No power nothing).
I've done 85% of the work myself working in a claustrophobic garage around the paint.
I had been collecting the building blocks for years (trans eng. etc).
I had the the 454 punched and stroked to a 496 with 655 HP on the crank Dart heads, Comp solid roller cam, Vic Jr. intake, Billet Msd dist., with a 6Al, Serpentine and Eledrbrock pump, Jesel shaft rockers and a B cool radiator and fans. (built for a 150 shot which I have plumbed in- there is no need), a 850 quick fuel W/o choke(both barrels open together), 2 1/8" Dynatec headers and exhaust 3" all the way out. I added a Hotchkis TVS (complete kit) with Comp. slide-a-links. Next I had the Borg Warner T-56 built to Magnum specs (L/s input,Viper output, and I hate to say it a mustang tail housing) with a Z bar and centerforce clutch, which is connected to a alum. drive shaft . followed by a 12 bolt, which I assembled using Tom's Diff. parts, Baer 4 piston x12' and single piston slotted and drilled in the rear .There is a proportioning valve coming through the floor pan in front of my seat. Dakota digital dash AFX .Hidded 675 watt stereo w/10' sub in the trunk, You can't see the 6x9's in the package tray even, and separate MX horn tweets in the front. The only frame chopping was a couple of holes, frame connectors,and rolled wheel housing lips . Dse head light kits w/ head light upgrade (there blue) 18" Rushforths all round with 10" out back. There is no roll bar, which keeps me from putting on slicks. Oh yea Fesler billet for all chrome and flush mount glass. All installed except the head liner,paint and quarters by yours truly. thanks for all the help I received in the 2 year's it took me . From the 1st turn of the key ....no leaks no problems Everything works except the Dome light, and I try to drive like it was meant to be driven but still have a pucker moment or 2. Cypher racing seats and 4pt. belts, and murdered out 30% tint along with clear film covering the rear lower front fenders and top cowl panel round it out.
With the gearing (3:73) it's idling @ 65 1000=1200 rpm. I think it will do CS 6 speeds. and I pity the Hellcat I run across after hopefully the NOS will get installed over the winter.
There is a unexplained white mark in the photo on the drivers side spoiler must have happened during re sizing.
