67-68 led stop/brake/turn setup cheap

OK,
I found some LED lights that others are selling for $129.99 a pair and that is for standard only. If you wanted to do a RS car, double that amount. I spent some time searching and found a site that lists the LED kit complete for a 67 RS at $49.99 a side! A 67 or 68 standard would be $21.99 a side for the stop/turn and the backup for $37.99 each. I bought four of the 68 Stop/Turn lights, and cut one to fit within my tail housings. Looks perfect and works super too. No wire cutting, the screw into your old sockets and the wires get tucked into the housing like a bulb did before. I will post pictures later but wanted to get this out !

I added pics to show what they look like with parking lights on and with the running and brakes on. Left to right pics are..

Doug,
I wanted to be able to go back without having to cut/splice wiring if the need arises

Did you have to add the electronic flasher for the blinkers and flashers to work.

I did not use this setup, 69 camaro, but the 2 sets I used I had to add the electronic flasher. The cheapest place to buy the flasher was Spaghetti Engineering.

Mike,

These do not require any special flashers at all. They work great with the stock flashers.

Dang those are bright, aren't you worried about the cops being able to better see you leaving the scene ?

I put mine in yesterday morning, it took like 20 minutes. I can't believe how easy they went in and they are way brighter than the originals. I went on a 40 mile cruise with about 300 cars and good brake lights were just what the doctor ordered. Thanks for putting me onto these Kev.

I did not see the reverse lights for standard '67 on that site.
