vinyl top renewer

Ok, I have a '67 Camaro with a black vinyl top. How do I keep it "new" looking , glossy and non faded? What products do you recommend?
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Some people might hate me for this, but I used black shoe polish on my original vinyl top, it looked so good it made the old paint look bad!

I've got canvas on my '02 and found Raggtopp via the Corvette boards. It's the only one tested and endorsed by the manufacturer of the Corvette tops. They make a cleaner and treatment for vinyl as well.

x2 on the shoe polish the only thing I used was boot polish in the little can, rub it on polish it off. It works amazing on tires too and lasts long. When I had a whit top and white interior I used white shoe polish it even did a great job on the seats bringing the stitching back to white.

If it is faded, clean with wax and grease cleaner then spray SEM gloss or semi gloss vinyl color to freshen it up then use whatever protectant you want. I did mine and left the protectant off and it looks great.

I use the Meguiars vinyl product, seems to do a very nice job but if you put it on heavy and don't buff off you can get a little run off in the rain.

'69 coupe, 350 engine and trans, HEI Dist, headers, posi-track. It's a good 15 footer
