Cleaning Rocker Arms

I've got some Comp gold rocker arms that have been sitting around a while that need a good cleaning. Since I don't have a parts washer anymore, what's a good, safe way of cleaning them up? Would carb cleaner be too aggressive?

Thanks, Nick

Cool!
Brakleen is awesome for parts cleaning, leaves no residue. I use it for everything.

Varsol works. Then use compressed air to blow off the liquid.
