1938 Chevy truck

Hope it's ok to post up a truck build. I have had this truck for a couple years and have not really done much but gonna give it another push so bear with me if it doesn't go real fast. I'll scare up some pix of where I am with it and what I am doing now, or should I say we since my 16 year old son is helping in fact he is the one that urged me to start the work back up.

Re: 1938 Chevy truck

Took the cab to get sandblasted and hauled it home in the back of my truck (fit nice in there)

Jimbo I think I will do a stock appearance with a modern day drive-train like a 70's straight six and auto trans maybe S-10 rear. No more gas tank under the seat, I'll move that under the bed.
Just want something unique and fun to drive around in, and maybe run errands to Home Depot with.

Re: 1938 Chevy truck

That would make a great Rat Rod shop truck IMO.

That will be kool. ~ 250 six shooter and 700R4 ????

Although lowered to the ground with a Blown Fat motor sticking through the hood and a huge set of stickys on the rear would also be waaay

Looks like a pretty solid project, They sure don't build em like that anymore. Keep those pics coming!
