1967 C-10 4wd help needed
OK folks, a friend of mine is rebuilding a '67 C10...
He put a 3 inch body lift kit in it, and a new power steering box.
Because of the lift, he cut the steering shaft, and attempted to install a U-joint to join the two pieces. The problem is that, when connected, the connection is flexed to a point where the locator holes do not ride the pins in the rag joint properly, popping on and off the pins as the steering wheel is turned...
Any thoughts? Is there a different rag joint with longer pins?
