2009 G6 shifting hard

My 2009 G6 3.5 auto has been shifting harder them normal and if you put it in drive from neutral it kind of jerks a bit. I've only noticed this when the car is at operating temp. I've read that it could be a solenoid in the tranny to a bad wiring harness which are not covered under the powertrain warrenty. Also I read that a bad cam sensors could also cause this, but I'm not sure the 3.5 has those. I plan to bring it to the dealer to get fixed just in case its something nonelectrical in the tranny which would be covered by GM. I have about 51k on the car so wondering if anyone has any insight.
