700 r4 crossmember ??

I am puttin a 54 sedan delivery ( THE GRAVEDIGGER ) on a 70--78 camero chassis......I joined a 700 r4 to a 350-350 is there a chevy (junkyard lowbudget ) crossmember that will work ??how bout the drive shaft ??do I need to pay $ 125 to have mine shortened ? or is this standard junkyard stuff ? I am sure I am not the only mailman in the world on such a skimpy budget ?????? Mike ......... what generation is this??? chassis F body or what ? I gathered the year span from the spindle ###

The aftermarket is going to be the only place you will be able to find the parts you need. However, if you have fabrication skills, then you could fab up a crossmember. The driveshaft is something you'll either have to get your existing one shortened and balanced or purchase an aftermarket one. Those are your only options. There is nothing in the junkyards that will adapt what you want.
