Strut question for suspension guys?

Just bought a 2010 Toyota Venza with 89k miles on it and the dealership (Audi) replaced only the left front strut. Is this acceptable or should have both been changed. Driving the car it tracks straight and i cannot feel anything different when stopping or hitting bumps? It's for my daughter and i'm not familiar if this is customary or not....mechanic said they only replace the one that is bad or leaking????Haven't picked up the car yet so still can request them do the other strut if i hear different.

69 X-44 Camaro, slowly upgrading to my liking...Hmmm, i guess i'll never be done

Oh yeah that's acceptable on a used car, let the next guy worry about it. OH WAIT, you are the next guy....

I would have them replace the other side at their expense if at all possible and plan on paying to have the other end done as well.

I wouldn't worry about it.

When I worked at Cadillac it was common to just replace the bad one.

Re: Strut question for suspension guys?

I didn't want to trade my low milage 69 for a high milage car.....so i paid with fiat
