Ford Y Block distributor parts source

This past weekend my bro in law wanted to do the pertronix conversion on his '64 F-250 with the last of the Y-block 292s.
Unfortunately, the distributor drive gear now has a few chipped teeth and now needs replacing. It seems Y-block stuff is getting hard to find in some cases, like this one.
I did cruise the 2nd gen T-Bird parts places for them, but very few had a listing for them, and were out of stock.
Should I start scrounging the junkyards and praying?

Anybody have a good source of Y- Block stuff, or can cross reference?
My bro in law thanks everyone in advance...

Re: Ford Y Block distributor parts source

I think your best bet without going in to the salvage yards would be to try the parts houses for a complete dist. Seems like the further out west your are they are far and few inbetween. I suppose you checked with Larrys Tbird.

However, I am looking at the complete dist from Oreilly's.
