1990 toyota 4*4

clutch pedal stays on floor ,will not shift while running, shifts into gear fine while not running, slave cylinder on firewall full, any ideas?

There is a bleeder on the slave cylinder.

You could try bleeding it, but it will probably need a new slave.

The clutch masters are famous for leaking, if leaked itself empty and you refilled there is air in the line. If not the pressure plate sounds bad. More info; new clutch install or what? The first Toy 4x4s ........79-83 had the external slave as I recall

turned out to be a hole ( rubbed by an ac hose) in the hose running from the reservoir to the slave. the oil leaked out ran down the hose to the exhaust. thanks for the help
